What is Microcurrent?
Microcurrent is a subtle electrical frequency that mimics the body’s own electrical signals, sending familiar messages to the muscles and cells in the skin. This time electrical current, measured in millionths of one amp, is applied to the face with wands that have Q-tip ends, using traditional acupuncture principles. Microcurrent helps to tone, lift, and re-educate facial muscles back to their original position. Proper firmness is reestablished through the procedure by correcting sagging muscle, which in turn corrects sagging skin.

How does Microcurrent work?
Microcurrent “talks” to cells, simulation natural processes which, over time, have slowed down. Successive treatments increase blood circulation, collagen, and elastin production, returning healthy glow to you skin

How many treatments do I need?
Each person is different. We assess your unique needs in a complimentary consultation. Usually 10-20 onw hour treatments are recommended 2-3 times a week. However, you will notice a difference in the way you look and feel after the first treatment. By the third session, friends and family will notice. More dramatic results are noticeable by the 10th treatment. Since there is no downtime required for healing, treatments can be performed consecutively under our direction.

How long does a treatment last?
Usually one hour. Along with the microcurrent treatment, our therapist will be applying an exfoliating mud mask and a moisturizing treatment.

How long will the results last?
After a complete course, a maintenance treatment is recommended every 4-6 weeks to retain the results.
