Spa Experience

There will be an on-going information stream here, with tips on your personal care and well being. Check back frequently.

Eyeliner Application: Apply liner as close to lashes as possible;  smudge to avoid a harsh look.

To Make Eyes Look Bigger or Wide-set: Start mid-lid; extend just past the end of the eye, blending upwards.

Using Liquid Liners:  Hold outer corner of lid and apply using quick, short strokes.

Bronzers - Not Sun: Use one of the many excellent bronzers on the market, to give you a "Kiss of the Sun". Forget getting a tan on your face.

Blemish Relief: After applying your foundation, cover the spot with a concealer, using a small, pointy brush, and then set with powder, dabbing gently with a powder puff. You can also apply "Over-The-Counter" acne medication directly to the blemish, using a cotton swab. Then apply a yellow-based concealer with a small brush. Dust with translucent powder.

Here's a Homemade Toner: In a blender, blend 1 peeled kiwi and 1 and 1/2 teaspoons lime juice. Add an equal amount of water and blend until smooth. Use a cotton ball to apply to face. Refrigerate any leftover toner in an airtight container.

A Fast Treat for Over-worked feet: An invigorating foot massage with minty, grainy body sloughing cream, Showered off and followed by a soothing rub-down with a high quality moisturizer, which concentrates salicylic acid to smooth the rough, dry areas.

For Dry Feet and Hands: At bedtime, slather them with a thick moisturizer, then cover them with socks. When you wake up, they'll be soft and smooth.

Too Much Eye Shadow?: Don't start over. Just dip a small blush brush into bronzing powder and sweep over the entire lid. Bronzing powder is a neutral tint, so it will just soften the colour of your shadow without changing it.
